#LoveArmy x Phenomenal Woman Campaign Toolkit

ACTION STEPS THAT YOU CAN TAKE
Ideal timing: Equal Pay Day, 4/4, 9am PT
If you identify as a man, here’s what you can do today:
  1. Close the Wage Gap: Donate your "extra" salary in recognition of the wage gap. All funds go to our non-profit partner beneficiaries, which are women’s rights organizations.
  2. Share on Social: You took action, now ask other men at your workplace or within your network to do the same. (Scroll down for sample posts and memes for social.)
  3. Say it Loud: If you're feeling really proud, snag a Feminist t-shirt for men.
If you identify as a woman and/or do not identify as a man:
  1. Share on Social: Encourage others (especially men!) in your network or workplace to join you in supporting gender pay equity. (Scroll down for sample posts and memes for social.)
  2. Be Your Phenomenal Self: Get a Phenomenal Woman t-shirt, if you don’t yet have one!

Optional: Women working full-time in the United States still earn roughly $0.80 for every $1 that a man earns. For women of color, the gap is much wider: black women make $0.63 for every $1 a man earns, and Latina women make $0.54 for every $1 that white, non-hispanic men are paid. Consequently, the gender wage gap can result in a loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars over a woman’s lifetime. Attacks on health care, immigrants, and education all have a disproportionate impact on women. In today’s political climate, it's critical now more than ever that we stand up and fight for women’s equality.
